Return and Refund Policy

This policy governs the terms under which products purchased through the Slasham group buying platform may be returned or refunded.

1. Group Buying Success and Failure (The Escrow Guarantee)

The nature of Slasham requires a deal to meet its Target Quantity before it is confirmed.

  • Deal Success (Target Met): Once a deal is successfully “Slashed” (Target Quantity met), the terms of this Return Policy apply to your order. We proceed immediately with payment and fulfillment.
  • Deal Failure (Target Not Met): If a deal fails to reach its Target Quantity before the deadline, the following process occurs:
    • The Supplier has the option to fulfill the order at the Slashed Price despite the missed target quantity. If the Supplier chooses to fulfill, you will be notified, and the deal proceeds as successful.
    • If the Supplier chooses to cancel, the deal is terminated. Your money, which was securely held in the Escrow Wallet Account, will be automatically and immediately refunded to your original payment method. No return is necessary in this scenario.

2. General Return Eligibility (Post-Fulfillment)

Due to the bulk purchasing model and the nature of the products, we have specific return guidelines:

3. Procedure for Reporting an Issue

If your item falls under an eligible return condition (Damaged, Defective, Wrong Item, or Expired):

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Email our support team at slashamhq@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
  2. Provide Evidence: Include your Order ID, a detailed description, and clear photographic or video evidence of the issue.
  3. Assessment: The Slasham team will review your claim within 2 business days. If approved, we will facilitate the resolution (return/exchange) directly with the supplier.

4. Refund Methods and Processing (No Cost to Slasham)

  • Refund Approval: Once the supplier confirms receipt and inspection of the returned item, we notify you of the approval.
  • Refund Payment: Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
  • Timeline: Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
  • Return Shipping Cost: Slasham does not cover the cost of return shipping. For all approved returns, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost back to the designated supplier/fulfillment center.

5. Specific Product Exceptions

The following items are generally non-returnable once delivered, except in cases of verifiable damage, defect, or incorrect delivery:

  • Perishable Goods (e.g., fresh produce, certain dairy items).
  • Personal or Health Care Items (due to hygiene reasons).
  • Items sealed by the manufacturer that have been opened (unless the product is defective).

6. Pickup Terms and Conditions

When choosing the free local pickup option, the following specific terms apply:

  • Inspection at Pickup: You are strongly advised to inspect your order thoroughly for damage, missing items, or discrepancies before leaving the pickup location.
  • Liability Transfer: Once the order is signed for or confirmed as picked up by you or your nominated representative, liability for the condition of the goods (including visible damage or missing items) transfers fully to you.
  • Post-Pickup Claims: Slasham may reject claims for visible damage, missing items, or quantity discrepancies reported after you have left the pickup location. Only non-visible defects (like hidden product expiration or functional defect) will be considered after pickup.

Pickup Deadline: Orders must be collected within 3 days of the notification that the order is ready. Unclaimed orders may be subject to restocking fees or cancellation without refund, as the supplier cannot easily retrieve the item from the fulfillment location.
